Mobile infrastructure award winner ip.access holds careers open evening

ip.access looking to hire across all product development areas.

CAMBRIDGE, UK – January 27, 2009 – Building on their leadership in picocells and following the highly successful launch of the award winning Oyster 3G™ femtocell, ip.access is looking to hire across all product development areas.

UK-based pioneer in cellular-over-IP, ip.access, is holding a careers evening on Thursday 29th January 2009 to meet prospective employees in the following areas: Software Development Project Managers, Product Managers, Programme Managers, Software Engineers (Java, C++, Embedded C, Linux Administration) and Technical Support Engineers.

These new opportunities build upon an outstanding record of technology and business leadership for ip.access in cost-effective picocell and femtocell infrastructure solutions.
Picocells and femtocells are small cellular access points that connect to an operator’s mobile network via a broadband internet connection and solve the problem of getting good coverage inside buildings. The ip.access nanoGSM® solution is the world's most deployed picocell, helping mobile network operators improve coverage and capacity for enterprises, SMEs, planes, ships and public spaces. Their Oyster 3G femtocell provides the high quality 3G signal needed for fast data services in the home and enables the mobile phone to integrate into the connected home of the future.

Stephen Mallinson, ip.access CEO comments: “In the current economic climate, we’re in the enviable position of being able to hire the very best talent. Our success with our GSM products and the launch of the Oyster 3G femtocell form a solid platform for us to gear up for the development and delivery of our groundbreaking technology in the future.”

The careers open evening takes place at ip.access UK headquarters in Cambourne, Cambridge and sessions start at 5, 6, 7 and 8pm. Potential candidates are asked to contact jobs@ipaccess.com to confirm attendance.
