August 16th 2012 - Atos’ initial decision to review their previous recruitment contract with AMS was made following their acquisition in July 2011 of Siemens Information Systems – who also used AMS as a key supplier of contingent workforce solutions.
“The decision to re-sign with AMS and build on our existing partnership with them was relatively straightforward,” explained Kevin Wilkinson, Atos SVP HR UK & Ireland. “The service and process innovations delivered by AMS have brought Atos significant benefits and I believe that the UK & Ireland recruitment model could be successfully followed by other countries in the Group.
Under the new five-year deal, AMS will supply permanent employees, contingent staff and a growing number of graduates to the Atos UK and Ireland operations through to 2017. In addition, AMS will also deliver outplacement services for Atos employees.
Commenting on securing this significant contract renewal, AMS Technology and Telco sector Director David Heath said: “Naturally we are delighted that Atos chose to extend their relationship with AMS for at least another five years. Throughout our longstanding partnership all of our team have sought to provide Atos with the highest levels of service excellence, innovation and inspiration. Their decision to continue our partnership is testament to the effectiveness of the AMS team’s hard work.”
