Reading, UK – June 3, 2008. Pink Elephant UK is delighted to announce the appointment of Dave Jones to the role of Head of Service Delivery for Pink Elephant UK.
As a previous employee of Pink Elephant, the company is fully aware of the skills and experience that Dave will bring back to the organisation. For the past 30 years, Dave has been involved in the IT industry, with the latest 15 of those being focused specifically upon the development of the IT Service Management industry across the UK and Europe. As the Service Delivery Manager for Pink Elephant UK, Dave is responsible for delivery of the Professional Services portfolio and Management of the delivery teams. His previous client engagements span financial, legal, NHS and Local and Central Government organisations.
An enthusiastic and passionate advocate for effective IT Service, he is also an established consultant, lecturer, speaker and presenter. Throughout his career Dave has been responsible for strategic and executive consultancy at customer sites, operating at Executive and Senior management level in order to develop awareness of Service Management principles.
Having also delivered IT Service Management Education extensively at all levels to over several thousand delegates (as an Accredited 1st lecturer) in public and onsite accredited courses, Dave is a highly effective lecturer, having delivered ITIL Managers, Practitioner and Foundation level Certified courses.
As an active member of the IT Service Management industry Dave is involved with all of the key industry bodies, a member of the IoSM Council, the ITSMF Publications & Qualifications committee, Vice-Chair for the ITSMF South Central Regional group. He is also on the senior examiner panel for APM and an ISEB examiner.
